Although I can’t say how effective the PS5’s improved wireless connection will be in terms of buffering and lag times.
I know it will support something called MU-MIMO or multi-user, multiple input, and output, which means that multiple devices can connect to the internet at once without slowing anything down.
The new Wi-Fi module also won’t need any external power cables, meaning you don’t have to leave it plugged into a wall socket so that you can stow it away neatly out of sight.
